Should I be worried about the safety of Dental Amalgam Fillings?

"Silver Fillings" are the most common kind of fillings used in Canada and have been used for over 150 years. They are the least expensive type of filling and last a long time and are used to fill back teeth. For some people, dental amalgam fillings are a worry because of the materials used. Studies have shown that amalgam fillings do not cause illness.
