Application for Registration : Dental Hygienists 5. Mandatory Continuing Education - Licensed Dental Hygienists will need to obtain a minimum of 36 credit hours over a three year period and shall be reported to the New Brunswick Dental Society. Dental
Hygienists applying for an initial license or a renewal of license
to practise in New Brunswick will have to meet a pro rated level
of credits for continuing education that will be calculated on the
basis of how many months of licensing time remains available in
the cycle of CE recording from the time of issuing of the license.
